Rector, Staff & Vestry
Rector
The Reverend Dorota Wright-Pruski

Originally from Poland and raised in the great state of Iowa, Rev. Dorota moved to Wisconsin in 2002 where she earned a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Marquette University. After discerning a call to priesthood, she earned her Masters of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary while also serving Christ Church in Georgetown as a seminarian and deacon. She was ordained in 2013 and moved back to Wisconsin to begin her priesthood as the Associate Rector of St. Andrew’s in Madison.
While a community organizer in Milwaukee, Rev. Dorota fell in love with the Episcopal Church and the way it beautifully integrated ancient spiritual practices with 21st century opportunities and challenges. She carries that passion forward and believes in ministries that inspire, move, teach and share the community, fostering strong and sustainable lay leadership, and finding new opportunities for creativity and joy in ministry.
Rev. Dorota is an avid runner, as is her husband Colin. She also enjoys baking bread, biking, swimming, recycling, and dessert.

Annie Jung
Seminarian

Annie Knazs Jung is a seminarian at Virginia Theological Seminary, entering her Middler year of the Master of Divinity program, with Concentration in Spirituality. She is a postulant for ordained priesthood through the Diocese of Louisiana.
She was born in Iowa, raised in South Louisiana, and has spent the last ten years between Northern California, Louisiana, and Virginia.
Her advanced education started at Sweetbriar College and after a transfer, she received her B.A. in Mass Communications, Public Relations and her M.A. in Community Counseling from Louisiana State University. Annie’s professional experience includes Youth & Children’s Ministry at church level, Youth Ministry at diocesan level, Clinical Counseling at her own private practices and mental health clinics, School Counseling in public and private schools, Summer Camp staffer and office manager, and Religion Teacher and Community Service Coordinator at an Episcopal Day School serving PK- 12th grades.
Annie’s family means the world to her, and includes husband Stephen, and three children: Bella (19), Helene (13), and Garner (11), and their “seminary support” animal, Magnolia, the cutest pup ever. In her leisure time, Annie enjoys traveling to local and far away adventures with friends and family, soaking up meditative time in nature, wine tasting, and costume design.
Her favorite part of ministry, besides love of the sacraments, is connecting with people, being a spiritual support as they strengthen divine gifts and God-given talents within. Annie is passionate about healthy, collaborative, joyful, life-giving and inclusive community. She believes such spiritual communities honor each person’s unique purpose and ability to further the Kingdom of God here on earth.
Vestry Members
For those new to the Episcopal Church, the Vestry is “the legal representative of the parish with regard to all matters pertaining to its corporate property.” This group helps articulate the congregation’s vision and support the church’s mission through selection of the rector and management of resources and finances. Vestry representatives are elected from the church’s membership and generally serve a three-year term. Learn more about the role of a vestry on the Episcopal Church’s site.
